Welcome Back

With this issue, we resume publication of The Communiqué, the newsletter for our AAUA members. This has been a time of transition for the Association. Dan King, who served for 19 years as the President/CEO of AAUA, decided it was time to retire, and I was asked to take over the reins as the new President/CEO on July 1st. Dan was an outstanding leader, and we all wish him the best as he returns to teaching and consulting for universities.

I have been working with the Board and various committees during the summer to plan for the upcoming year. We have added member benefits, new professional development projects, and emphasized increasing our individual and institutional membership.

I hope you all had a restful summer and the 2023-24 academic year is a great success. Please let me know what you would like to see in future editions.
