Professional Development
Through programs and events, Professional Development is part of AAUA’s mission to improve the knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions of individuals engaged in the administration of higher education. We provide a variety of professional development opportunities, including webinars, podcasts, conferences, training programs, and mentoring programs. Insurance
AAUA makes various low-cost professional and personal insurance options available through its Trust for Insuring Educators (TIE) membership. Categories of plans and services available to AAUA members through the Trust for Insuring Educators including Educators Professional Liability Plan, LegalShield & IDShield and Educators Dental Plan and many others.
Academic Impressions
Academic Impressions is a company that focuses solely on providing leadership, personal development, and skills-based training opportunities to faculty and staff in higher education. AAUA and Academic Impressions recently signed a partnership agreement so that our members may take courses for a discount.
Orbridge Travel
Orbridge is a leading partner with over 140 higher education alum associations. AAUA and Orbridge have created a partnership for its members to provide the ultimate educational travel experience. AAUA and Orbridge are partnering (subject to change) to offer two travel programs in 2024.
Annual Conference
The Inaugural American Association of University Administrators Conference will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, October 14-16, 2024. Higher education leaders and administrative personnel from all disciplines and institutional types will come together with colleagues, thought leaders and other experts to focus on the most pressing issues and challenges facing higher education.
